High -End VR Headsets in 2016 - Oculus Rift

Among Virtual Reality enthusiasts, the Oculus Rift is the favourite choice. However, using the Oculus Rift effectively will require the use of a powerful gaming computer for an all round Virtual Reality experience to be facilitated.

 It is relatively expensive with a price tag of $599 but it compensates for its expensiveness with am out of this world experience and a high end performance.

The HTC Vive is the result of a collaboration with the makers of the legendary gaming series Half Life, Valve. The HR headset works in the same way as Oculus Rift and it also requires a powerful gaming computer and a high resolution screen to deliver on optimal performance.

There is good news for computers that are not up to the recommended specs of Vive and Rift. These computers can run other VR games but it will be with the aid of a PC bundle, a new desktop, and a powerful headset.

Samsung Gear VR was the result of a collaborative effort between Oculus and Samsung and the product was introduced as a lite version of the Oculus Rift.
